hi, folks im looking for a birth for a william samuel harris born in the 1890,s possibly wolverhampton staffordshire but could be wrong maybe shropshire any ideas or info welcomed thanks....kev

sorry i dont know any of his parents names i know in 1911 census he was living in franchise st wolverhampton...kev

there is a birth registered in Staffordshire for William Samuel HARRIS:
Sept. 1893 West Bromwich 6b 860
West Bromwich covers the border area for Staffordshire, Shropshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire

I did try a search of the 1901 Census for him but there are 21 William HARRIS' born, in Staffordshire, between 1893 and 1895.

According to the 1911 census he was born in 1885 in Wolverhampton and employed as a Jappaner. William Samuel was married with two children and his mother in law was staying/living with the family.

hi, lizzy i think youve nailed him he was a jappaner can you tell me the names of the children and the mother in laws name please...cheers...kev
