I have a possible ancestor, Seth Stanton, whom I believe was involved in the civil war. He hails from Worfield where he was born in 1611, there are two births where he is the father Jane Stanton in 1642 and George in 1647 (my ancestor?) both seem to fall neatly between civil war activity which makes me think he was off fighting somewhere. I doubt he was an officer so is there any way of tracking him? His son George ended up in Stafford by way of Lichfield. I am just seeing if there are any links worth pursuing and where to look.
