Can anyone help with information on Clyde Rivet Works ,119-31Laidlaw Street. Built in 1898. Illuatrated London Gazette of 19/8/1899 mentions a John Laidlaw as being a partner. Would likw to know which John as there were many Laidlaws in Glasgow. Thanks.

thanks Colashbury. Have already done that but still doesn't tell me which John. Have looked at census's on Ancestry but cannot tell which one. Don't yet subscribe to Scotlands people which would probably tell me more but thanks for your suggestion. Regards. Margaret
