In FMP's Parish Records Collection there is an Adam Laidlaw b. 5th May 1788, baptised 13th May that year at St James (Presbyterian) in Newcastle, Northumberland. His parents were the Rev. Adam Laidlaw and Mary Laidlaw. His father was 'min. of Gospel, Silver St').
Probably another Adam Laidlaw was married on 3rd August 1817 at Carham, Northumberland to Margaret Allon.
Any use?
