Hi,
Searching for information on the Scullin Family from County Galway. My wife's 2xgreat grandfather, John, born abt. 1840, emigrated to Australia around 1860 to the Ballarat goldfields (Victoria). One of his siblings James Henry, born 1876 went on to become Prime Minister of Australia in 1930. Any information greatly appreciated.

Scullin Family
Ted; I was a boyhood friend of a Scullin in Melbourne, whose family was also related to the former PM. I haven't seen or heard from him for years and maybe your wife is his sister as he had one sister and one brother. I think I can still contact him, if you're interested, but best for privacy reasons to keep it off line and contact me at - jgourlay(at)ozemail.com.au
regards
John Gourlay
