I am searching information on William Vorley(and his parents and siblings) possibly born in Wellingborough and moved to Bedfordshire. He married Violet Marshal and had six children. His family had nothing more to do with him once he married. Violet died about 1933. The children are Robert (now passed), Ronald William born 1923 - died 1997, Kenneth (now passed), Joan born 1930, Wendy born 1952. They lived somewhere near or in Lincolnshire.

How certain are you regarding Violet's surname?

The reason I ask is that Violet Markham married William A Vorley in September Quarter 1920 in Grimsby, Lincolnshire Vol 7a Page 1941.

This couple then appear to have had the following kids in Grimsby:

Dorothy M in 1921
Ronald W in 1922
Robert C in 1924
Kenneth in 1925
Joan in 1930

Hi Anne,,,just to connect you with the Reuben Vorley mentioned in the other ladys Vorley thread,,,here he is,,with Alfred,,Alfred is listed as Reubens Grandson,,,so he must be Williams great grandad.
