Dorothy Nelson ( lost )

I’m a bit late to this party but I hope this is still useful. Dorothy is my great-grandmother so I have discovered quite a few facts about her. She did, it seems, have children with no registered father who I know were legitimate in their own right (the word illegitimate is pejorative and ugly imho ��).

Dorothy died at home in Wednesbury in 1972, aged 73.

As you say, this thread is old, and I'm sorry to have to say that the original author left the group some time back - it's indicated by the tag "guest" under his name. Such messages are left on the system because they usually include potentially useful information contributed by others.
