    Hello Xenia,

    The IGI has a christening for a Margaret ARMSTRONG in Canonbie on 4th December 1768 to parents James ARMSTRONG and Elspith HOPE. It is an extracted record: Batch number C118142 refers.

    Could this be her?

    Also, there is a Margaret ARMSTRONG christening in Canonbie on 20th March 1769 to parents George ARMSTRONG and Martha WAUGH. Again, it is an extracted record from the same batch number.

    Oh heck! Just found a third:

    28th October 1770 to parents John ARMSTRONG and Margaret SCOTT. Same batch number.
