Peter, I have had several attempts to locate via "Sion" in FamilySearch - Collection Title, Catalog, Place, etc - I'm not getting anything close.
Can you give me more help, please?
I will also look at bbmdregisters, to see if I can locate images via a search on the Landells name and Alnwick Sion Chapel (or similar).
Results 11 to 16 of 16
Thread: sion meeting house Alnwick.

No point paying money to BMDRegisters until you're sure there's something you want to look at!
Since I last looked at FamilySearch, it seems to have changed. And not in a good way.
The easiest approach is probably through the Archer Software catalogue - look up Alnwick...

Choose the batches you want - there are two for Sion Meeting House - and click on the batch number.

The changes at FamilySearch were the major topic in this thread.

I'm now getting "secure connection failed" errors on that URL.
Try forcing an insecure connection...
When you get the error page, change the https:// in the address bar to https://

Peter, you meant Http:// without the s -
ie, https://www.archersoftware.co.uk/igi/fs-nbl.htm
(it works)
It looks very detailed.
At top states -
This page is a place name index to the former IGI batches for Northumberland, as at 2010.
To access these entries on the FamilySearch website, click on entry in the batch number column. If you click on Mixed in the Batch Type column, this displays a page in Batch Number sequence with the components of each mixed batch.
Entries that say "Details to be added" are recent C-prefix and I-prefix batches.Last edited by westernwombat; 08-11-2021 at 1:38 PM. Reason: comment on the site

I think this site assumes that you carelessly omitted the "S" and adds it for you.
I don't think the IGI batch number site has been updated for a long time but it still has its uses.
