Hello Sue, I have only joined today & are just looking around. I really should not have looked here as I don't want to work on the Cain family yet ( they are on my wife's side, Tasmania via IOM). However I have something that has interested me for many years. It is a torn out page from what looks like the inside cover of a book, it is of silky texture. It is printed (not by hand) with an ornate border. At the top in the middle it says TO, at the top left hand corner it says ANN, on the top right hand corner it says CAIN at the bottom left hand side it says FROM and bottom right it says A FRIEND. Do you have any clue who the Ann Cain was that it refers to. The body of the document is a poem called MY WISH that is mostly about having a nice death. Was there a literary Ann Cain ??
Best regards
Fewson
