Looking for Eliza ELLIOTT (nee CHAMBERS)

Hi everyone
I have come to a brickwall
My Grandmother Eliza CHAMBERS (b 1888 Horwich) married James ELLIOTT (1911 in Horwich)
They had 8 children between 1911 and 1927 including my Father Arnold (b 1922)
I cannot find any record of Eliza's death, James died in 1927 age 50. At that time Eliza would have been only 39 with 5 children under 7 yrs, So could she have remarried out of financial security reasons???

I was adopted and have only recently found records of my birth parents (both deceased) I haven't managed to find any Elliott family members still living (I am pursuing that outside of BG.com)

If anyone has any ideas that could assist I would be most gratefull

If you know her exact birthdate you can search the GRO death indexes by first name and b date on the post 1983 indexes. Marriages will be recorded under her maiden name and former married name. I'll have a quick look.

Eliza Elliott is still alive in 1939 she is living at 14 Taylor Street Horwich.

Eliza Elliott born 30 November 1888
Arnold Elliot born 22 April 1922
Thomas H Elliott born 15 March 1815
Dorothy Elliott Ekersley born 27 Feb. 1931

Eliza Died in 1951 in Horwich Lancashire age 63 there is a record of her burial online but you have to pay to view it
