    Thank you!
I will send all this to Christine's (kid#10) daughter who still lives in St. Helens and see if any memories are jogged loose.

    Hi Ken
On the census it is Christina. I took special note because it is the first time I have found someone with my name, especially when not tarted up with K's and Y's in it.
Let's know if you find out anything more.
    Christina

    Hello,

I know everyone started this thread a few years ago but my family and I have just started to research our family history. I am looking for a Thomas and Mary Marsh and it is sounding close to the one you are looking for. They would have a daughter named Elizabeth born oct 21 1891 in St. Helens. I have no other information on them. If you could help out that would be great!

That is me! Elizabeth (Lizzie) b 21 Oct 1891 married a Newby and moved to Vancouver, Canada while sister Sarah Jane went to southern Ontario near Niagara Falls.
It is kinda late but let me know what you know or need and I will look at my stuff again soon.

    Ken,

Lizzie would be my great grandmother. I have pictures of Jack and George Rigby in a photo album, along with members of a Swift family. If I could get as much info as possible from you that would be greatly appreciated!

    Hey there
I had a separate Canadian MARSH FTM file for a bit but of course drifted off and around and would love to be re energised.
I have Lizzie's GRO Birth Cert.
Off the top of my head comes the BC name Janet Anderson.
I have pics from a Van cemetery. Why ? It will come

Default Jane Marsh & Sarah Marsh

I am trying to solve the mystery of who is Jane and Sarah Marsh's mother might be. I am the Great Great Granddaughter of Thomas Marsh born 1859 St Helens Lancashire that's if I have followed the correct paths. The child of Jane Marsh. Fathers name not listed. Now I have been following the trail above and can concur with the research already done.
I know that on Janes marriage to Isaac Johnson 2 March 1863 Jane has listed her father as John Parr. I also know that when Sarah Marsh married John Williams 8 April 1866 she also listed her father as John Parr. So I have assumed that these two are sisters. Has anyone managed find their mother or why John Parr is listed as their father?
    Thank you
    Julie McLean

    Jane Marsh 1838 ?
Thomas Marsh Born 10.1.1859 Mill Park Place St Helens who married Mary Litherland
Richard Thomas Marsh B 1883 who married Alice Lowe
Thomas Marsh B 1905 who married Bessie Killey

If it helps my grandad Marsh lived in Sorogold Street St Helens. He had 5 children who sadly have all passed away. There are of course cousins but only a few of them still carry the family surname on.
