    Default NZ BMDs online

Not sure if this is the right place for this but I'm sure it'll get moved if not.

    NZ BMDs are now online

    Thanks Irene,

I have moved this to the "Across The Pond(s) - New Zealand Genealogy" forum.

I also sent this earlier to the Resources page, remove it if you like ,but it might be better there so our U.K friends etc see it???.

I think it can stay in the two locations - more people may see it that way.

    Hi Procat,

This is a great site. I managed to get the registration numbers and confirmed sources of my great grandfather and four of his siblings.

Now I know why it was so slow!
By chance, I chose yesterday to take a look and see if they were online yet.
It is great to have the online ordering facility now. And my lass was conveniently born in the cheapest price bracket - just.

thank you very much, it makes up for having to troll through that cursed drawer at the State Library

One word of caution is that the 1870ish birth and death certificates hold very little information
