Scottish invaders? Perhaps you know some local record to back that up but just to point out that Burn and its variations are Old English and commonly found all over the north of England, Bourne occurs in the south.

The old Catholic chapel in Clayton le Moors is in Enfield, just near Clayton Hall. The chapel has been knocked down, but there is a nicely kept graveyard. If you use Lancashire online parish clerk you should find entries mentioning Enfield.
