Default Useful Information & Tips Forum

We are having a mini spring clean, and trying to make things a little easier for newbies to navigate the site. Most of you will notice no change whatsoever, but if any of you are looking for the Teaching and Tips Forum, it has disappeared and has been merged with the Useful Information Forum, now under a new heading of Useful Information & Tips

Most of the posts in Teaching and Tips were simply transferred over, but I had to move at least two thirds of them to General Family History Queries, Brickwall etc, as they were posts asking for information, often highly specific to a personal search, rather than giving information that would be useful to all.

Any queries that you cannot decide where to post, post them in General Family History Queries.

Good Idea . If research queries are in that section , they are often missed by the experience researchers , who rarely visit the forum .

Often those with experience are more likely to be able to assist, though I am not downgrading the abilities of newbies, to do research , by saying that.
