If it is the one at Larling, Norwich, it is still in existence:
ANGEL INN Larling, Norwich, Norfolk, NR16 2QU.
You could try contacting the pub landlord/lady to see if it is freehold or managed.
If managed, find out the brewery to which it is affliliated and then contact the brewery archives.
If freehold, the landlord/lady may have details about it's history.
Failing that, the Norfolk Records Office may be able to help.
Good luck!

Hello and welcome
I found this site quite recently, which may be of interest to you, it could give you a clue to the brewers of the area.

Welcome to the B-G forums.
The first place to try for pubs in Norfolk is the.........Norfolk Pubs web-site
which doesn't have a lot of information on it - the premises appear to have moved over time.

If you'd like to see photos of the city - The late George Plunkett took loads of piccies and his family have put them online - Plunkett photos - it will give you an idea of the old area of the city mentioned on the pubs web-site.

Angel Inn Larling
I have checked the Norfolk pubs website, and there was no one called Harris registered as a landlord at the Angel Inn Larling in the 1800s. Hope this will save you time following that lead. Regards John
