I am researching the Whitfields(my Grandmother was Ada Whitfield b1875 Edgmond Marsh Daughter of William and Esther Whitfield) and have had some success and made contact with two other decendants going back to 1700's and 1800's. Associated names are Evans,Allan,Surridge,Cherington,Egerton,Venables. More recently post 1860's there are links with Crewe and Stafford.
I still have a few gaps and would welcome all contacts to share data.
