    Is this your James ? DOB for this one is c1852. I am assuming you have found all of this (if he is yours) and checked scotlandspeople and have bmd info ect. What information do you already know and what are you looking to find ?.

    Thank you Tracey, Yes this is the one I am searching for. I used the birthdate shown in "Modern Scottish Poets" vol 13 dated1890. Whenn I have digested all the information you have given me I will reply at length.

    Hello Peter

    All this came from www.moray.gov.uk
    In the column on the right hand side that says "Quick Service Links" look down and you will see Local Heritage Services, click on that an you will see down the page a link to Local Heritage Web Site, click on that then on the left hand side menu click on Libindex - easy really !

    They are a very nice helpful lot of people up at Moray and so it may well be worth contacting them about anything specific.
