    Default FLANAGAN FAMILY

    Hello Worcestershire genealogists.

My name is Christopher (Chris) Flanagan and live in Billingham, Teesside.

My great-grandfather, Thomas Flanagan, was born in Dudley in 1854.

Although I have the names of two people who I believe are his parents, and therefore my great-great-grandparents, I can't seem to find the cast-iron proof. They are Martin Flanagan and Sabina McAndrews. I have seen her name spelt as Serina and Selina, but that could have come from a misspelling when being copied?

Thomas Flanagan moved to Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, and married Mary Gallagher. Amongst the children they had was a son Thomas, my grandfather, b1885 - d1951.

Do these names ring a bell in anyone's tree? Could anyone put me out of my genealogical misery, , and so finish my tree?

Many thanks in advance for any help received.

    Chris

Derek, welcome to the British Genealogy Forum.

Sadly, Chris hasn't been here since the day that he posted his query. Can I suggest that you select a suitable forum, and tell us a bit about your own research? We have some very enthusiastic and helpful members..
