    Default Ann Wrightson/Richard Collett

I have the will of John Rand dated 7 March 1795. two people named in the will are his niece Ann Wrightson & his cousin Richard Collett. but i cant find their birth/marriage any where. Ann's parents could be Robert& Ann Rand or Samuel & Ann Salmon of Bampton. Richards mother could be either Elizabeth Webb born Kidlington 1703 or Catherine Webb born 1709 Kidlington. but again i can't find a marriage for Elizabeth or Catherine. or a birth for Richard can any one help please .| susyswan.

Not sure if this is of relevance, but we have a reference in our North Aston village history book of an Elizabeth Collett. The entry refers to an outbreak of cholera in 1754 giving rise to an unusually high death rate that year, but the following year, 1755, Elizabeth Collett died at the age of 103. She was buried in North Aston churchyard. At the time she was the village's "longest living inhabitant", and I suspect she may still hold the record!

Checking the OFHS's Oxfordshire Marriage Index (153-1837), I can confirm that there is no instance of an Elizabeth or Catherine WEBB(E) marrying a "Mr. COLLETT", or an Ann RAND or SALMON/SAMMON marrying a "Mr. WRIGHTSON".
