    Default 141 Squadron

I would like to know more about an old photo I found with 41 personnel of the 141 Squadron, Ayr, Scotland in front of a Beaufighter. It ws probably taken about 1943/4.
My father is not on the photo but during the war spent most of his time at Straddishall, Shepherds Grove and Ternhill (near Ayr) with the Conversion Units and also aircraft recovery.

My father was a radio engineer with 141 squadron and was stationed at Heathfield Areodrome just outside Ayr in the early 40s. He worked on Bolton Paul Defiants and Beaufighters then moved on to Mosquito night fighters operating out of Norfolk and SE England. He was concerned in the development of radar eventually.
