    Question Fort William

Can anyone help, I am looking for Fort William, Joette kindly told me Inveness, so I went to the Scottish Origins to search for my Bracken family, and it asked for a district of Inverness, so I clicked on the box and no Fort William, so I then went through all the names and districts listed for each county and no Fort William,Is it Just a village that comes under another name

    Try Lochaber or Kilmallie parishes.

Try the Lochaber Archives Centre in Fort William itself. The contact details are at the foot of the page.
