I have lots of Baxter's in my tree, my family originate from Polesworth, Warwickshire. Richard Baxter and Catherine Walker. Their son Richard Baxter married a Charlotte Hall, Richard and Charlotte immigrated to Australia on the ship Telegraph on the 23/1/1855.
Their son also named Richard Baxter then married a Sarah Ellen Mobbs, also originating from England, In Kettering.
Regards Alan Baxter.

Hello Maeve. I have Baxter's in my tree. My grandmother was (maiden name) Elizabeth Mary Baxter. Her parents were Edward Baxter and Elizabeth Crisp. His father was William and Mary Ann Husted. Not sure if this is the line you are looking at. MistyGirl
