Hi
Can anyone help me find anything about The Rocklands in Connahs Quay?
My dad is 85 now and was born in the Rocklands. We cannot find anything listed about it or on any map.
His name is Ainslie Edge and he and his brothers Arthur and Roe and his sister Amy were all from the Quay. They are all still living there except my dad who lives down south.
I would be grateful for any info about the 1920 and 1930/40 in the Quay.
Any book or map names would also be much appreciated
Linda

Welcome to the forum.
Alan Godfrey Maps www.alangodfreymaps.co.uk publish a large scale (14 inches to 1 mile) Old Ordnance Survey Map of Connah's Quay (1910).
Local bookshops will probably have books of old photos of the area,
