Default FALLIS @ Elizabeth Castle, St Helier??

Hi peoples - I'm trying to trace the origins and family of a James Fallis
    b c1843.

I found him and his family as per 1881 Census as a Acting Bombardier Coast Brigade R A at "Elizabeth Castle", St Aubin's Fort Have Des Pas, St Helier, Jersey, Channel Islands - Source PRO Reference RG11 Piece / Folio 5616 / 53 Page 8

Now I'm not sure if this Fallis is a Vallis or not, so wondered if anyone has any records of them or are they on the C1871 also stationed there?

    TIA - HiFly

Its been some years since this was posted and I woiuld like to know if information on this is still being sought as I have very recently starting researching this family
James Fallis 1843 origins are in Enniskillen N Ireland, was from a military family, married Susan Jane Bunting 17th May 1876 inn Alverstoke Hants
Would like to correspond with anyone else who has a connection to Fallis in particular to a Gordon Cyril Fallis c 1916 who is my stumbling block. He has a connection to the Fallis family in Jersey
    Any info on Gordon appreciated
    Best Regards

presumably Gordon's father's name would be on his 1948 marriage certificate

    Hi there

Hoping that this is still an active thread.....I am very new to this !

I believe that I am the grand-daughter of Gordon Cyril Fallis......my mother was the daughter of Gordon and his wife Emily Risien (formerly Heaney)

    Welcome to the British-Gebealogy forums
The original poster was last on the forums a year ago but tullamore posted just last month so should receive an email saying you have posted to the thread so hopefully they will be along soon to exchange information.
