Default Was this photo taken in BONNYRIGG?

Where was this photo taken (dated early 1920s)?
The family were at 1 Garden City Houses, Park Road, BONNYRIGG before moving to Edinburgh.

Hi Mary - I have family members in Bonnyrigg - but unfortunately I couldn't download the photo you are asking about. I will keep trying.

The picture of a gentleman having a bad hair day is interesting but I'd rather see your picture Mary....

That post by Mary was from August 2006, so I expect the image was taken down a long time ago.

If Mary spots this thread popping up again, hopefully she may post the image back.

    Hi Stacey
As Mark and Vanessa said, it's years since I posted that picture; I took it down recently because Photobucket was misbehaving and I thought clearing out my Album would help..
Photobucket still not good, so I've reposted on Flickr https://www.flickr.com/photos/mary-young/3652636278/
Things have moved on however ... my nephew from New Zealand was in UK last year, and we visited some family haunts, including 1 Burt Avenue, KINGHORN, Fife, where my brother James (the younger boy) was born in 1924. We were invited to walk round the garden, and we're pretty sure the picture was taken there.
My Dad, JOHN LEWIS, was badly wounded in WWI and never really recovered. It breaks my heart to see him here, he already looks an old man and only 28.
Story of his life on my website https://cmy.iay.org.uk/jacklewis/jack_lewis.htm "Lest we forget."
    Thanks for your interest.
