Hi All,
I am looking for information relating to the family of Frederick James Smith, a Carter of Reeves Farm Bratton, born 1876. I know that he married Agnes Jordan of Steeple Ashton in September 1899. I would be particularly interested in the parents & siblings of this couple but any other information would be most gratefully received.
Many thanks,
Adrian.

Adrian,
I take it from your reference to Reeves Farm that you have his entry from the 1901 census. Is that correct?

1891 has him in Westbury
Lydia Smith/head/widow/43
William Smith/son/18/agricultural labourer
Frederick Smith/son/15/agricultural labourer
Winnie Smith/dau/11
Harry Smith/son/9
Bessie Smith/dau/7
Edwin Smith/son/4
Edward Smith/grandson/3
Herbert Smith/son/2
All born in Bratton
This is assuming that the birth year of 1876 as shown on the 1901 is correct. There is another Frederick Smith born in Bratton in 1878.

Fantastic response people. This certainly removes a dead end that I've been staring at for some time!
