Occupation: Miner
Cause of death: Fall of claim roof

seems to fit "my" john adams thank you for finding that for me

These were the Brookmans I found;

Brookman Thomas Marr Wilkins Sarah Ann 1868 Reg No 2178
It states Thomas was born in Somersetshire

Brookman Thomas vowles (b) 1869 Creswick Reg No 1843
Father: Thomas
Mother: Sarah Ann Wilkins

Brookman Thomas married Mary Jane Marshall 1888 Creswick Reg No 1885

is it fairly sure that thomas brookman iS thomas henry brookman that was found earlier son of henry brookman and jane..

if so any more news of them...
i have searched and cant find any thomas henry brookman or henry brookmans that fit

if this was a little twig i would ignore them for a while but they are a main branch for my children......

The MARY died 1935 would be the correct one. I only included the other one to show what I found.

John Henry Marshall..... his age at death could have been 10 years or so out...it would have been given by the informant of his death. Could have been a relative or someone else, who may have just made a guess at his age.

What information were you still after about Henry Brookman and Jane. If you give me dates etc I will see what I can find.

all i have is that thomas brookman was born in somerset his marriage notice 9 to sarah wilkins) in the creswick paper said langford somerset.
but i cannot find him or henry and jane in langford.
nor any arrival in australia.
the only thomas brookman i can find on a ship is in the 1870's the "somersetshire"

i cant get a copy of any certificates till the end of the year (at the earliest) so it is a headache.
