Thanks Phillip. That does suggest he was here before his parents arrived. My maiden name is Cohen and Esther Crawcour's daughter, Rebecca Crawcour nee Abraham, is my grandfather Godfrey COhen's maternal grandmother whilst Michael Cahsmore's daughter Esther married Henry Cohen and are his paternal grandparents . I have never seen the portrait of Isaac. As I said I have the original of Esther. Would love a copy....can it be emailed if you have on file to [email protected]?
