The suggestions Phillip has made are good advice. I do think it would be advantageous for you to contact Denione as if she has had her DNA tested you can compare yours with hers.

I think you need to spend some time scrutinising your DNA contact's tree. Could it be someone else, not Amelia Woolf, in his family tree with whom you share DNA?
I realise it's...

The above is the death registration for Hyam Isaacs, the greengrocer, he was 78 when he died in 1849 which means he was born about 1771.
There is this christening for Hyam Isaacs which suggests he...

It appears you've misunderstood the information entered for parish register christenings.

Yes, Phillip, My thoughts: they are great finds, well done. I'll see if I am able to add anything later.
I did find a birth registration on the GRO last night for Mary Ann Isaacs, MMN Gable.

No Phillip, I don't think you've missed any data, I too have searched for James in the census after 1851 and didn't find him, Sarah or the children. I looked at Ancestry, FMP and The Genealogist. ...

Like Phillip I too have my doubts re: Hyram Isaacs and Amelia Woolf being your ancestors, my reasons are the same as Phillips.

Phillip, there's a probable 1841 census for Sarah Gable with William a silk weaver, also a Matilda.

I found these marriages.
Henry Isaacs/Jane Garrett, Jul 9th 1877, Bethnal Green, Henry a fish salesman, his father James a fish salesman. A witness was James Lewis

Hi Phillip, the witnesses again were Henry and Frances Common.

Hi Phillip, I think it most likely that Zose is the name on Hyam Isaacs death certificate (1849). I agree with you, he may or may not be a sibling of James as that is unproven for now.

Hi Phillip, this 1851 census seems to be Zose Isaacs. This is how Ancestry have transcribed it.

I fully agree, Phillip.
I've seen some of the family trees on Ancestry and it's clear the tree owners have mixed up the two Hyam Isaacs.
