Thanks - There are a couple of John Dale's in Staffordshire around that time annoyingly and yes the Fold3 record is equally annoying!
The Michigan record is a good one - can't see a suitable John...
John DALE was born Wolverhampton 1842-1843 to Henry DALE & Mary Anne ROWLANDS. I have him on the 1851 & 1861(as a Locksmith) census at home with his parent(s). I had nothing further until an Ancestry...

Anyone tell me how I attach an image now (they've changed the rules again I presume) - but the rules https://www.british-genealogy.com/forum/threads/78149-How-to-upload-images-directly-to-your-post...
Suggestions as to Dealias surname please?
She is a marriage witness at Willenhall, Staffordshire in 1898 - I have tried looking through indexes for 1891-1901 to get a name but am drawing...

Congratulations, that's the sort of result we all love to have!
I have just had a DNA match come forward who has a match to both me AND my Mum - the first one. They are both low 7+11Cm over 1 Segment matches but better than nothing. He has a huge tree on Ancestry...

Yes Arthur I now know. I've also realised I'm doing too much transcribing and the stone (embarrassingly) does say KERKEZ - though findmypast didn't pick that up as a variant of KEREZ. Looks like...
Thank you Peanut wonderful. Name variants hadn't picked that up on findmypast & there are other KERKES though the surname looks to have been KERKEZ! Mitch.
Currently transcribing photos I took from a churchyard (Wessington, Derbyshire). Having done nearly 300 most have been easy as its rural and most people are local but I'm stumped. I've been adding...

And there is a Charles HAILS marrying a Mary Jane BRENNAN at Stepney in 1893. So Father doesn't match Rose Emily's Marriage Certificate of Frederick.....
Charles & Mary Jane have children:...
I also looked at the Rose Emily born 1900 Bethnal Green and noted her fathers occupation was wrong. There is also a Rose E HALES marriage in 1930 in the Bethnal Green district which to me makes her...
I had a problem as I first found Rose E on the image - but not Emily who was only on the transcript on findmypast!
They are both under Schedule 51 which is 845(transcribed as 843 on findmypast)...
