I am researching the Hollman/Holman's from Ifield, Sussex & would appreciate any information. This is what I have at the moment, William George Holman born 1860 in Ifield, Sussex married Jane Northeast (b1859) from Worthing. They had a son George Holman born 1882 employed as a chauffeur for Lady Chelsea and married Ellen Maud Down (b1884) in 1904. There children were Ronald, William George, Albert, Herbert, Vera & Cyril (my grandfather) all of which I believe were born in & around London. Maud died at a young age in 1918 and George went on to marry Margaret (surname unknown) from Beckenham, Kent, she died Worthing in 1994. My grandfather Cyril married Daisy Dorothy Chatting from Battersea (b1912) and lived in Kingston upon Thames & Hampton Wick, where they owned a Poodle Parlour. My grandmother Daisy died in October 1976 and in 1984 Cyril married his stepmother Margaret in Broadwater, Sussex and died in 1993. Places mentioned in my research are Clymping, West Hoathly, Horsham, Crawley, Littlehampton, Worthing, Worth, Brighton & Broadwater. I also know that a grocers shop was owned, possibly by William George Hollman
