Hi
I am trying to find out about Henry and Bella-annie Nunn who I believe lived in County Street Totterdown Bristol in 1914. They had sons Henry and Albert who died in WW1.
Where were they from and where were they in 1901
Thanks Nic

Hi Nic

This looks like your family in 1901, although son is Alfred not Albert

RG13/2383/90/16
54 York Street, Bristol
Henry Nunn/Head/M/25/Railway Carman G.W./Worker/London
Bella Nunn/Wife/M/22/Glos. Bristol
Alfred Nunn/Son/S/4/Glos. Bristol
Henry Nunn/Son/S/10[sic]/Glos. Bristol [I imagine that should be 10months]

I had a look for their marriage in FreeBMD http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/
Surname First name(s) District Vol Page
Marriages Dec 1896
Nunn Henry Joseph C Bristol 6a 72
Sweet Bella Annie Bristol 6a 72

(I think you'll find the boys' birth details are there too?)

You can order a certificate online which will provide you with lots more useful information

best wishes & happy hunting

Thank you very much Lynda and Jeremy, my mother-in law is very pleased with your responses and effort.
Ultimately we are trying to find the war graves of Alfred and Henry who sadly died during WW1 and their mother would never speak of them after their deaths, so we lost all trace of their military history.
If there is anybody that can help trace the graves of Alfred Nunn born 1897 and Henry Nunn born 1900, we would be grateful. It is understood that they enlisted into the local Regt which could be the Somerset Light infantry or the Glosters and died before 1917. One from pneumonia and the other killed in action.
Kindest regards Nic

Hi Lynda

I think I have found them both, I have asked the British War Memorial Project if they could confirm their places of entistment of the soldiers I found. If Bristol then thats them.
