I have the following 19th century 'Rotherhithe' addresses that I cannot find on a detailed 1921 London Street Atlas:
12 Napoleon Place & Arnold's Place.
Both addresses came from civil registration certificates.
I wish to find the families on relevant census enumerations.
What might be the streets now? Or at least a locator estimation?
Thanks in advance.

I checked the street directory of the 1856 London Post Office Directory but neither are listed.
Quite a few Nelson ..... but no Napoleon ....

As today is Trafalgar day it is quite apt speaking about Napolean.
As an aside I used to go to Victory Place School in Walworth.
ps I should have checked the clock - that was yesterday!

When asking for help in locating addresses or streets it is a big help if the date of the source ref is given and if possible the sub-district of the civil registration or the Ecc Parish if from a Church Reg
