1841 census robert jones

hi im trying to find a robert jones born 1826 newport shropshire,married a ellen eliza wynn born 1820 scotland.
married in 1839 wolverhamton ,unsure of district/parish
they were living in 19 canal street wolverhamton ST peters with 3 sons eldest joesph john was born 1847 newport shropshire.
have looked but have not spotted them can anyone help.

You've posted this on the Staffordshire forum, but have you also tried to find them in Shropshire as their eldest child was born in Newport?
By the way, are you sure it's the correct marriage, as their eldest child wasn't born for another 8 years, and your dates suggest Robert was 13 when he married the 19 year old Ellen in 1839. If you got the date from FreeBMD or Ancestry then did you realise that they haven't fully transcribed the whole index yet? Records Office or http://www.1837online.com/Trace2web/LogonServlet is the surest way. Joseph's birth certficate is likely to give you an address in Shropshire that could help with your search and also provide you with Ellen's maiden name.
