I am looking for the origins of the Findell/Findall and Woodland families.
My GG Grandmother was Susanna Findell who married Robert Woodland in 1814 in St Albans.
Her family seems to go back to John Findall b St Albans 1706.
His father was William Woodland but William was not from St Albans, he may have come from the East of the county as there is no evidence that he was born around St Albans, and there are many Woodlands in the Ware/Hertford area.
If anyone has researched these families I would like to share information.
