Adey

I would be interested to hear from anyone researching the name Adey, Ady or Adye in Gloucestershire. I have traced my own Adey family back to Painswick in approx 1640 and another branch back to Wotton-under-Edge at approximately the same time but I don't seem to be able to get any further back despite searching the Gloucestershire Archives and the parish registers.
