My thanks button seems to have vanished since the site’s reboot, so here’s a real, typed by my own lily white paws thank you to you and all your team. Both FreeCEN and FreeBMD make family research possible for all sorts of people!

And, as I’ve said before, if anyone feels like they’ve received a lot of help and would like to give something back to the Genealogy community, I know that Bev would like to hear from you!

Hi
Many thanks for your message
We really would appreciate any help available, it is a huge task making the census available. We are especially short of voluteers prepared to proof read work that has been transcribed. Just as an example I have over 500,000 Surrey records that have been transcribed but no voluteers proof reading the work. This situation is replicated for all census counties and years. So we would love to hear from anyone interested in making the census available. There is also plenty of transcription available.
Best wishes Bev
