The McMurray Transcripts

Whilst wading through the endless maze of trails in the LDS Catalogue desperately searching for a direct route to the film/call numbers for the St Giles Cripplegate Registers I came across the McMurray Transcripts.

These appear to cover all of the City Churches and seem to be made up of a compendium of the classic register Indexes such as Boyles etc. The LDS description is as usual somewhat vague and I found nothing online. Anyone care to comment

PS I never did rediscover that secret passage that leads direct to the Register film #s

The online City of London library catalogue (http://librarycatalogue.cityoflondon.gov.uk/www-bin/www_talis) which, of course, includes the Guildhall Library, will probably give you a bit more detail than the LDS entries.
(I say "probably" because I haven't looked at what the LDS say!)

Just hit "Author" on the menu, stick "McMurray, W" in the search box and work from there.

I've never used them though, so can't tell you any more than that.
