William Pope married Margaret Pinkney date unknown. They had 6 daughters and 1 son. They were Martha, Sophia, Lizzie, Margaret, Amy, Alice, and William.

I couldn't find the family in the 1881 census. I wondered if someone could have a look at the 1861 or 1871 census to see if they are there.

The only clue is that Leonard William Pinkney was born in 1827 in Middlesex, St Georges in the East. He was Margaret's brother and she may have been born there too.

Any ages or where the children were born?

I have had a look at the 1901 census and found:
Amy Pope born Hampstead, London, aged 45 years making her birthdate around 1856.

Amy Pope never married

I hope someone can help me find William and Margaret Pope's family together. Perhaps the 1861 census will shed some light.

I have found another record:

One of William and Margaret Pope's daughters was called, Ann Margaret Pope not Margaret, she was born about 1853 in Limehouse, Middlesex.

I hope this will will help.

Hi Carrie,
The Amy Pope born in Hampstead in 1856 is the daughter of Robert & Jessy Pope according to the 1861 census.

Hi Carrie,
1861 census gives Margaret Pope born 1835 St. George in the East but her husband is Samuel Pope and they have a daughter Emily.
