Locating obscure places in Fife

I have been hunting for Foulcauseway (although I wasn't sure about the first 4 characters), probably in the parish of Cupar, for ages. Every Gazetteer, I knew of, The Statistical Reports, etc. Then I found an "if all else fails" note on GENUKI about a test version of a database on the Glasgow University, fed it just with "causeway" and got the answer immediately!
