Hi Barb, did you mean to post your query in the 'Black Sheep Forum?' If so who in the family was the black sheep? If posting in Black Sheep is a mistake, please let us know and we can move the query to an appropriate forum :)

Is this the birth registration for your Grandmother?

Oct - Dec 1916, London C. vol 1c page 19
Annie E WALDRON, mother's maiden name LOADER

Barb, you seem to know quite a lot regarding your ancestry, do have anyone in particular who you'd like help with? For instance have you researched the Waldrons? Let us know what info you are seeking and we'll try our best to help :)

Most of the information I have came from ancestry. Arthur W Jesse Waldron and also Elizabeth Loader are who I am researching now. I was told Elizabeth never married either Loader or Hamilton just lived with and took last name. Also was told I had relatives from Spain. Which is the best site to locate this type of info?

Two possible birth registations, one with mother's maiden name SMITH, other MULLETT
LOADER, JESSIE SMITH
GRO Reference: 1876 M Quarter in MILE END OLD TOWN Volume 01C Page 563
LOADER, JESSIE MULLETT
GRO Reference: 1877 D Quarter in FULHAM Volume 01A Page 259

It's very complicated as in 1891 it appears Jessie is with her Mother, Elizabeth, and father Frank LOADER??? also a brother Robert Loader age 10. RG12; Piece: 340; Folio: 107; Page: 45;

In 1881 there's just Jessie and mother Elizabeth .. RG11; Piece: 530; Folio: 127; Page: 24

Mullet is the name I have seen. Not sure about connection to a Robert maybe he is Frank's from a previous marriage.

In 1901 Elizabeth, Frank and Robert are known as HAMPTON, RG13; Piece: 253; Folio: 67; Page: 29

1901 Elizabeth age 42, born Bromley Kent; 1891, 32, Chatham Kent; 1881, 22, Woolwich Kent.

I think we can assume Elizabeth was born in Kent, but which town????

What I have found on ancestry is she was born in Norwich to a Hannah Japp but not sure that is correct.

It seems this is her birth registration and the J in Japp has been misread.

There's this possible marriage, you would need to buy the certificate to find more info unless someone can find the certificate online, I've looked but not found it, it could be they married in a Register Office.

Marriages Sep 1854, Strand vol 1b page 586. Hannah JAPP, Walter MULLETT

Hello,

I'm Geoff Moseley, and I grew up in Australia.

Given how rare our names are we may be related.
