PAYNE Family from Harpole

My great grandfather was Arthur Payne who was born in Harpole in c.1859. His father was George Payne and, I believe, he was also born in Harpole in c.1838.

Is anyone else researching the Payne family from this area of Northamptonshire?

Most of my relations - Grandfather, father, uncles etc. are Ketteing and some Northamptonshire. check out previous thread (PAYNE & COLLINS OF KETTERING ) -- George A was my father - one of 16!

I know it's a long time since this thread was opened, but I only just found it...

My Payne side of the family lived in the Hinckley area of Leicestershire from the late 1700's through to the late 1900's. I do have an Arthur Payne in the line, no dates but he would have been born in the mid-1800's. He was married to Eliza Stretton. Actually I just found another one (working from a manually created tree). He was born 1883, died 1916, married Nell?

I can provide more details of the lineage if you want to reply. Hopefully we have a family link somewhere...
