Could sks look up the 1851 census for Bromsgrove. I'm trying to find a John Crump born 1819 Bromsgrove. In 1861 he was living at Court 38 Worcester Street and in 1841 Worcester Street Broadyard.

Hi Lottie

Thank you very much for the help. I have the 61 census with John as 42, Elizabeth as 52, Mary A daughter as 21 and young John as 13. Which seems right for the two Johns but not for Elizabeth and no Mary A. I have not come across a Charles before. There are quite a few problems with the records for these Crump as John is on the 41 census as living with his brothers and widowed mother and not married. Either way thanks again for the help.
By the way what do you mean by " &nbp; "

I'll have another look at the Census for 1851, but think that was only John CRUMP of correct age !! But will look for the others you located in 1861 and see if I locate a match!!

I didn't put -"&nbp;"
Its a foible of the Forum software - if you copy and paste you get many of them - but this time was a typed entry !!!!!!!!!!!- just ignore !!!
I'll post again whether i find any more CRUMPs or not !!

Hi Helen
These Crumps are really getting confusing! I think I need to carefully go through all the data I have as it seems possible that there may be two different families but with the same named parents. Mary A's grandfather should have been another John who should be DEAD in 51! Bromsgrove seems to be overun with Crumps.
Thank you for all your efforts
Geoff
