Could anyone with access to the London Metropolitan Archives records please have a look at the baptism for Elizabeth Mundell in St.Pancras on 11 March 1818? The writing is very faint, but I am pretty sure her middle name is Rebecca and her father James listed as a pork butcher. What I can't decipher is the abode. Any suggestions welcomed.

Sorry, I tried, but I couldn't read it either.

I can't either, Sue, and they do not appear to have had any other children at St Pancras to see if their baptisms are any more legible. I cannot find him in any online Directories, so far, either.

Thanks for looking. Their son was baptised on the Isle of Wight and in 1820 they emigrated to the Cape. I am trying to find out more about Catharine nee Wood, the mother.
