Welcome to the British-Genealogy forums :smile5:
If you came to us from FWR then reading This (http://www.british-genealogy.com/threads/82046-FWR-Members-Please-Read) will tell you a little about us.

Personal service records for WW11 are only available from theMoD. and there are restrictions on these depending on the date of death of the service person and the relationship of the person requesting the record to the service person. Reading this 'sticky' (http://www.british-genealogy.com/threads/81920-Finding-service-records-for-WW2-and-after?p=585757#post585757)will give you more information and links to the relevant sites.

Other than his service records the information you will find using a search engine will probably be of a general nature.

Hi

Once you get his records and find out which squadron he was in, you can find out what they did here-

Can you find any other info? His number would be very useful...
I can't find hime on the RAF Retired List (1992), which includes officers born in the1910s and 1920s, so I Assume that he was non-commissioned.
