Have had two emails this afternoon whilst I was out from sales@bmdregisters.co.uk:

Dear Neil Mitchell,

This email is confirmation that your have bought 10 credits for use on
www.bmdregisters.co.uk

At the time we sent this email your new credit balance was 13.

Total paid

Panicked me for a minute but I presume it is a fake email as the English is poor. Have emailed BMD registers and changed my password for my account.

I got this about an hour ago.

We have reset your password for www.bmdregisters.co.uk. Here is your new password:
xeanw

Note that all these characters are lower-case letters (i.e. NO numbers and NO upper-case letters) and must be typed exactly as above.

For security reasons, we recommend that you change this password as soon as possible next time you log in.

Thank you for using BMD Registers.

The BMD Registers Team
............................................

I did not know we had a registers team ??....... I have binned the email as it did not seem right.

BMDregisters.co.uk is part of the S&N group of genealogy sites.

It is a commercial enterprise not to be confused with the GRO registers at
http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/default.asp

Or with freeBMD at
http://www.freebmd.org.uk/

Cheers
Guy
