Anyone with any info re: Peter Speight ,pilot officer, navigator, radio mechanic, Malta please contact me. My dad passed away 2 years ago and I have very little info about his war years. A few campaign medals, buttons and smal souvenirs. Would love to know more. Born 1920

You can apply for your father's war records from the MoD. who still hold the records for WW11. This sticky (http://www.british-genealogy.com/threads/81920-Finding-service-records-for-WW2-and-after?p=585757#post585757) explains and gives links to useful sites. You will need your Dad's death certificate, 30 pounds and a lot of patience bcause it will be a few months before you receive them. This is because of the added interest right now in this particular area of research.
