I am new to this forum so forgive me for not knowing my way around. I am trying to find more about my father-in-law's service in the RAF during WW2. He was a Canadian volunteer who came over in early 1940 and he was stationed at Biggin Hill. He flew Hurricanes and Spits. Later he transferred to the RCAF and flew for Transport Command. I am primarily interested in his RAF record of service at this time. He received a number of medals including the Flying Cross, but I would like to get more information. I have a service number for him CanC46535, but I do not know if this applies to his service in the RAF. His name is Alexander Camille Wanlin and he also went by the nickname "ChucK". He died on August 30, 2014. Any information or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you,
Tom
