I have just been reading the National Archives newsletter and it has an announcement that these records are now available at FindmyPast.
The newsletter also suggests that anyone looking for records should also look at their research guidance:
http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/records/looking-for-person/default.htm
Also they are selling a book about tracing RAF ancestors for £12.99: http://bookshop.nationalarchives.gov.uk/9781783030576/Tracing-Your-Air-Force-Ancestors-2nd-Edition/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=The+National+Archives&utm_campaign=4417163_July+2014+enewsletter&utm_content=Traceairforceancestorsbook
Also on the National Archives site you can now search: Royal Air Force combat reports 1939-1945
